Affiliate Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The Checkito Affiliate Program allows participants to earn commissions by referring new merchants to Checkito. Commissions are paid on qualifying referrals that result in paid subscriptions.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the affiliate program, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid payment method for receiving commissions
• Agree to these terms and conditions
• Not operate websites that replicate or compete with the Shopify App Store

3. Qualifying Referrals

For a referral to qualify for commission:

• The referred merchant must be a new Checkito user
• The merchant's store must be on Shopify Basic plan or higher
• The merchant must complete their free trial and make their first payment
• The referral must not violate any Checkito policies

4. Commission Structure

Affiliates earn 15% commission on all payments made by referred merchants within 3 months of their initial sign-up. Commission is calculated based on the net payment amount after any applicable fees or refunds.

5. Payment Terms

Commission payments are subject to the following terms:

• Minimum withdrawal threshold of $50
• 30-day waiting period after each qualifying payment
• Payments processed through the Mantle affiliate platform
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes on commission earnings

6. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination:

• Self-referrals or referring your own stores
• Using misleading or false advertising
• Spamming or unsolicited bulk messaging
• Cookie stuffing or fraudulent tracking manipulation
• Bidding on Checkito branded keywords in paid advertising
• Any form of fraudulent or deceptive activity

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice (email is acceptable). Upon termination, you will receive any outstanding commissions for qualifying referrals made prior to termination, subject to the standard payment terms.

8. Program Modifications

Checkito reserves the right to modify these terms, commission rates, or program structure at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email. Continued participation after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Checkito makes no representation or warranty that referrals will generate profits, sales, exposure, or brand recognition. The success of your affiliate activities depends on your own efforts and strategies.

10. Confidentiality

You agree to keep confidential any non-public information about the affiliate program, including commission rates, conversion data, and other proprietary information. This obligation does not apply to information that is publicly available, required by law, or independently developed.

11. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Checkito be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in the affiliate program. Our total liability shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 12 months preceding any claim.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic.
